World War II Veterans take wing

Veterans of World War II took wing on Sept. 24, flying to Washington DC to see the WWII memorial that honors their sacrifice. The trip, sponsored and paid for by Honor Flights of Southeast Florida, took 85 elderly heroes on this once-in-lifetime trip. Among them, 91-year-old Abe, a Pearl Harbor survivor and a resident of Aventura. Thanks to Abe and all our veterans for their service. See the photos below.
