I love a good thriller. So after seeing the Swedish film "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo," based on the novel by the late Stieg Larsson, I went on to read all the author's books. I am just one of legions of Larsson fans; his books have sold 22 million copies worldwide. Which means that when Larsson died suddenly in 2004 at age 50, he left behind an estate worth millions. But it's what Larsson didn't write that's created the biggest thriller of all: A will. Because he died intestate, his brother and father inherited his estate, according to Swedish law. Left out in the cold entirely was Larsson's longtime companion of 32 year, Eva Gabrielson.
There's a surprise twist in the next chapter, though. Gabrielson possesses the late author's laptop computer, which contains 3/4 of Larsson's unfinished last novel. There's also speculation that it contains the outlines for several additional novels. You can be sure she's keeping that latop under lock and key. Stay tuned for the next intriguing chapter...
