Seventy five members of "The Greatest Generation" boarded buses and planes on May 14, making their way to Washington to see the World War II Memorial that honors their sacrifice. The trip was made possible by Southeast Florida Honor Flights and a slew of volunteer "guardians" who assisted the aging World War II veterans throughout the day.
The next honor flight is scheduled for Sept. 24. To volunteer, donate or for more information,
