Estate tax discussion: See you in September, say Democrats

Sources on Capitol Hill report that Majority Senate Leader Harry Reid intends to bring the issue of the Bush tax cuts - including the estate tax - before Congress in September. Many pundits had thought the topic would not come under discussion until after November elections. Democrats themselves are split on the issue, with some claiming that allowing the cuts to expire would further stall an already troubled economy, while others object to continuing massive tax cuts for the wealthiest.
