Longtime New York Time columnist Jan Brody has helped people make decisions for healthy living. Now, in Jane Brody's Guide to the Great Beyond, she turns her attention to making the difficult decisions about the end of life. And she should know. Her husband of 44 years died in February. Fortunately, Brody writes, she and her husband were prepared, having thoroughly discussed these difficult issues and put all the important documents in place, including a living will. At least, says Brody, the experience was not made worse by family arguing over the decision-making process.
And as for those who would rather not theink about their own mortality? Brody states that doing so is ultimately unfair to the people who are closest to you. Click here to connect to the Amazon site to learn more about the book.
